Chickadees is a site with products designed by myself, Adelaide. With an affinity for vintage items I have developed my own modern version of "antiques." Baby pillows add warmth and comfort to a newborn's room. Each of these pillows recall memories from my own childhood. The pillow cases are made from 100% cotton and the designs are woven to be washable in cold water.
Lamps that go with babies of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Wooden figurine bases with ceramic figures of a rabbit, duck or elephant. "Bubble" lamps with wooden spheres. A more traditional lamp would be the twisted wooden white base set off with a colorful garnished shade of checked or bubble fabric.
T-shirts that help baby stand out in a crowd. These are 100% cotton t-shirts that have been embroidered with a chick, duck or flower in a variety of colors. Matching trim further embellishes this shirt. Washes well in cold water.
Hangers can be used either to display items or for everyday use. These particular hangers are wooden and are painted in bright pastel colors. Each hanger is distressed and decal images are applied.
Where else can our stuff go but in trash cans that call for attention. These cans are made of wood so they will wear well with time. The cans have random patterns of circles or stripes and are held up by wooden feet.
Bright, colorful cotton fabric that has been quilted and made into diaper bags, purses, and two sizes of bibs. The stylish diaper bags are lightweight and can carry either baby's necessities or mom's.
Wooden knobs that are not only decorative but also functional. These cute and colorful pegs with a vintage look can be used to adorn a wall and /or keep the baby's room tidy.
Where do baby's keepsakes go? Why in this decorative box of course. We have several styles of these boxes made of wood with a removable top and plenty of room to hold those "treasures."
